What a great start to the school year! The children are quickly learning our classroom routine (circle time, bathrooms, how to line up, how to move from center to center, etc.). Your children never lost their enthusiasm and smiling faces. I’m sure they were exhausted by the time they got home!
Most of our time in the classroom is spent at centers where they strengthen their fine motor skills, problem solving skills and explore scientific principles. At the same time, they are learning to share and cooperate with fellow classmates. All of this is very important as they learn to be successful in school.
Our themes for September:
9/11 – 9/15 All About Me/ Friends & Family
9/18 – 9/22 Pets
9/25 – 9/29 Feelings/Emotions/ Shapes
– Please remember to bring back your placemats for snack time. The children are so proud of them and love showing them off to their friends!
– Please bring in one 4×6 family portrait for our picture wall. These pictures provide great comfort during the first few weeks of school.
– Remember sneakers are the most comfortable and safest choice for the playground.
Future newsletters will be posted on the school website the first week of every month. If you have any questions please feel free to talk to us during drop off or pick up.
